By accessing and using this Site, you (“the User”) agree to each of the terms and conditions set forth herein (“Terms of Use”). In the event of any conflict between the Terms of Use and a Subscription Agreement, the latter shall prevail.

Connolly reserves the right to modify the Terms of Use at any time without notice. Your use of the Site following any such modification constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by the Terms of Use as modified. The last date these Terms of Use were revised is set forth below.

Users of the confidential sections of the website are provided a user name and password (the “Credentials”). Subscribers retail all responsibility and liability for any access to or use of the Site made with credentials provided to users covered under the applicable Subscription Agreement.

Disclaimer and Waiver of Liability

All services, content and documents provided on or through this Site (together, the “Content”) are provided on an “as is” basis and Connolly does not make any representation or give any warranty in respect of the Content.

The Content contains general commentary on macroeconomic and geopolitical matters. The commentary in them is not intended to constitute, and shall not be used as, advice to any person (whether as principal or agent) to buy, sell, subscribe for or underwrite any particular investment or to exercise any right conferred by a particular investment to buy, sell, subscribe for or underwrite an investment.

Connolly shall not be liable to the user for any claims whether in tort (including negligence), misrepresentation (except any fraudulently made) or otherwise. In particular, and without limitation, the User waives all claims against Connolly for loss of profits, loss of business or of anticipated savings, loss of goodwill, loss of reputation, loss or corruption of data and for any type of economic, special, direct or indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage.

The User acknowledges that: (i) the Content is provided “as is” and are not written with the specific situation of the user in mind; (ii) Connolly has no duty to update or correct any errors contained in the Content; and (iii) Connolly makes no warranty and accepts no liability for the accuracy or completeness of the Content.


The Content and all copyright and other intellectual property rights in them are owned by Connolly and the user has no rights in relation to them other than as expressly provided in the Terms of Use.

The User acknowledges that the Content is for use solely by the User and may not be reproduced or transmitted externally to parties outside their firm or internally to those within their firms in any form electronic, mechanical, photocopying, printing, recording or otherwise without prior written permission of Connolly.

Connolly expressly prohibits linking by other sites to any part of this Site other than the home page (so-called “deep-linking”) or where Connolly has otherwise expressly given permission. In addition, Connolly expressly prohibits the linking to the home page of this Site in such a manner that suggests or could be understood to imply that any part of this Site is part of another web site and, in particular, third parties must not frame or use other techniques to enclose any part of this Site. Users are expressly prohibited from deleting or altering in any way any copyright, intellectual property or other legal notices from any part of the Site.

User Conduct

The User agrees to use the Site only for lawful purposes. The User agrees not to take any action that might compromise the security of the Site, render the Site inaccessible to others or otherwise cause damage to the Site or the Content. The User agrees not to add to, subtract from, or otherwise modify the Content, or to attempt to access any Content that is not intended for the User. The User agree not to use the Site in any manner that might interfere with the rights of third parties.


Connolly does not control, endorse and is not responsible for the availability or content of any third party websites available via this Site through a link.

Use of Forum

Users of the Site may submit material for publication in the Site forum and various other areas of the Site. Connolly does not control, endorse and is not responsible for any material submitted by users and is not responsible for its content and accuracy.

The User warrant that any material you submit or otherwise publish on the Site is your own original work and that you own the copyright and any related intellectual property rights, that it is not unlawful, offensive, abusive, obscene, indecent, threatening or defamatory, and that it does not infringe the intellectual property rights, breach the confidence of, or violate any other legal rights of any person.

The User shall not use facilities on the Site to commit or encourage a criminal offence, to insert, transmit or distribute viruses or corrupt data, to send any unsolicited advertisement or other promotional material, nor to conduct or forward competitions, surveys or chain letters. Nor shall you use the facilities to give any investment advice or to undertake any other regulated activity.

Connolly reserves the right to refuse to post and/or remove any material sent or posed by the User. The User irrevocably agree that Connolly may edit, reproduce, distribute, sub-license, transfer or otherwise use any material sent, received or posted on the Site by the User in whole or in part, in any form, indefinitely, and the User agrees to waive any moral rights which the User may have in such material


Connolly may terminate access and use of any part of the Site at any time without notice if the User is now or has been in in breach of any these Terms of Use or of any term of the Subscription Agreement.

Connolly reserves the right to cease operating the Site or to terminate your access and use of any part of the Site at any time without notice.

Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York applicable to agreements performed entirely in the State of New York. Each party (i) irrevocably agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of New York over any claim or matter in connection with the Terms of Use and (ii) waives any argument that venue in any such forum is not convenient.
